Fans Opinion?

Sun Nov 15, 2020 11:37 am

What’s your opinions?

Welsh Supporters:

3,000 fans socially distancing inside a 32’000 seater stadium today?

Easy but not allowed.

A few thousand people bustling, trying to get into Primark, Queens Street.

Difficult, but allowed.

Come on @fmwales, let the football fans back in. It’s getting silly now.

The Assembly and Westminster have boxed themselves into a corner on sport and though they know they are wrong they wont admit it and come up with all sorts of lame excuses. I went into Cardiff yesterday and from what i could see the queues to get in to places like Primark were highly likely to have caused significant spread of the virus.

I have been every other week watching Atletico Baleares at home this season :bluescarf:

2,000 fans around a 12,000 seated stadium and works perfect :thumbright: :bluescarf:

Over here, we don’t even need the stewards to tell us to separate, to be fair the fans just spread out naturally :thumbright: :bluescarf:

Too much effort i mean are you going to get a test every home game for 10k fans. It's all too much work and effort for every single home game.

Fans dont get tested why should they be tested when other spectators dont have to?

The difference is that Atletico Baleares ground is that it is open ground our stadium are inclosed.

I won’t returning to football grounds until the vacation is up and running

If they started selling tickets I wouldn’t bother. Even with 5k or 6k fans it would be worse than the first round FA Cup games that get the same crowds. Minimal drinking/eating, no entertainment under the stands, zero atmosphere with everyone spread out, transport to and from stadium would be even worse than usual, one way systems and staggered arrival and leaving times, no pre or post match socialising in pub/restaurant.

Personally the negatives out weigh the positives when I can stream every game and the alternative is turn the TV on at 2:55 and watch from home.

I couldn’t stick it Annis. All that bullshit inside the ground that isn’t the football experience for me. When this bullshit ends and we go back to normal and the silly pricks stop dropping to there knee then f**k football.

Agreed, I thought the idea was too keep politics out of football. I think the fact they take the knee is a disgrace tbh.

Which is more likely to cause a spread of Coronavirus :-

A) 3000 fans in a 32,000 capacity stadium?

B) No fans in a 32,000 capacity stadium?

Use your common sense.

Re: Fans Opinion?

Off football, watched Argentine match v all blacks, held in sydney, and there was a decent atmosphere, not sure what the attendance was? Plus Argentina won!!
There was talk in turkey about allowing attendances of 50%! This has since been refused by government, which to me is a correct decision,as that would be 25000 at galatasary and fenerbache grounds and 20000+ at a few other grounds!

I will wait until back to normal hopefully soon maybe next season but as stated already be like watching a 3rd round fa cup game against Cambridge or Swindon not for me but respect anyone who wishes to go

What's more likely to spread covid? 20 people in a pub or nobody in pub?
What's more likely to spread covid 200 people in tesco or nobody in Tesco ect ect
Whats the difference between tesco the pub and ccs?
2 more likely to spread covid one less likely.
The most likely two are open the less likely one is closed makes good sense....:old:

All grounds these days have no roof so to speak of imo,now the egg ground has a "roof" thus making the arena enclosed when roof is shut,so all are open air in that case,a bus stop has a roof, but hardly enclosed space either!
They had a tad over 9000 at the Argentina v all blacks the other day,so some countries are slowly opening sports up,while we will be kept waiting by Drakeford, until there are no cases!! I'm sure city could operate safely with say 8/10 thousand inside, would be problematic, but not impossible. There are fans that would no doubt attend, just to get that real live fix again. :old: :bluebird:
