Ciaron Brown on loan to Livingston
Ciaron Brown left once again for Scotland for his third loan spell with Livingston. For the same reason Aden Flint was being starved of game time, so, too, was Brown.
The 22-year-old Northern Ireland international has transitioned into the centre back position — having played a lot of his football at the Toni Macaroni Arena at left back — this season and has been in and out of the struggling Livingston side.
He has played in half of Livi's 14 games so far, starting each of their last three, but his side are wallowing in 10th place in the table.
Getting a good chunk of senior football minutes under his belt, though, will be exactly what Harris will have wanted.
This spell is crucial for Brown, one would think, given his age and desire to play regular first-team football, so it will be interesting to monitor is progress this term up at Livingston.
