Are there any odds for Nigel Pearson or Paul Cook?

I’d take either to do a good job.

Paul Cook is a fantastic manager. You only have to look at the job he did at Wigan, under extremely difficult conditions.

I would expect him to be a front runner for most Championship jobs, probably in Sheffield Wednesday's thinking.

Russell Slade had no experience at this level of football - completely different situation.

Pearson is a lunatic and Cook is a nobody, no thanks to those two!

If we were going to change it would need to be for someone better like maybe Hughton, but it's too late now.

Ned... He did a great job at Wigan...but before he was ...lower league as Slade was
Harris has managed in the championship and did a half decent job last season....You cant say Cook is a fantastic manager
on the back of one season when they were fighting relegation we want someone with Championship experience
not southport, chesterfield, Portsmouth in Divisions 1 and 2
Just my opinion and I appreciate yours :bluescarf:

differences between him and Slade are that he seems to know how to get the job done... 3 promotions and Slade had zero...plus he both played and has managed at our level.. yes at wigan having got them up he was fighting relegation.. but its not like they were spending big or one of the fancied clubs... the job is what it is...sometimes staying up is success.?

i like Hughton but he has gone to Forest... not sure how he would have got on here mind as where he has had success he has also been well backed.... signed 2 strikers in 2 consecutive years for 13 and 17 million who failed to score goal between them the season we were in the prem.... the fruitcake five would be having heart attacks... 2 million for a left back almost finished them off..

There are NO ODDS at the time of this post from any of the firms -
It was around this time last year when NW managed his last game for us .
