TONIGHTS SEVERN SIDE DERBY ENDED WITH UNWANTED HOME DEFEAT FOR NEIL HARRISONS BLUEBIRDS

For me this was being brought back down to earth after our win v Barnsley and brought back reality we need to to be more lethal in front of goal and start winning. More games.

The gap for the top two is becoming more bigger and worrying .

I know it’s early stages but we need wins ASAP if we want to really challenge.


Let’s be honest Bristol had hardly a shot but won.




Cardiff were looking to win back-to-back league games for the first time this season, picking up their first home win of the campaign against Barnsley in their last match.


First-half: Cardiff were the better side and had the most shots, but it’s the team that puts it in the net that counts 0-1
Sloppy defending once again



For me Harris needs to sort this out as he played a strong team tonight.

Quite frankly, not good enough. No creativity. Too pedestrian and laboured in possession. Brizzle 2nd, Jacks 3rd. Can things get any worse?

Hugely undeserved as we played well but yet again an early goal has killed us. Its appalling that we keep conceding first. Heart says Harris out but head says he was unlucky tonight. That said any chance of promotion this season is now remote. Hes blown it basically. Does anyone really think we can go get us up now?

That start to the game just showed how inept we are. We are like the sprinter who cannot use the starting blocks to their advantage. For me now its a question of do we stick with this manager and allow him to bring in the right players or do we continue with this business model that at best will keep us mid table in the Championship.

Frustrating 7points off 2nd spot now! Cannot keep winning then losing or drawing every other game? Cannot help thinking we will not get any consistency with Harris in charge and that in end will cost us...

Yes we’ve lost and it’s horrible losing a derby. Weekend is ruined. But if I was to put myself in a neutrals shoes watching that game, it was obvious we were the better team. We bossed the game created numerous chances, and should have been winning comfortably at the half. Moore can’t keep getting the starts as he’s just offering us nothing but an aerial threat. And that aerial threat creates nothing 95% of the time. Wilson was very poor today as well as Ojo and Hoilett. So considering our 4 front men were bad it’s no surprise we couldn’t score.
To be fair to Harris I think his changes were the correct ones and all at the right times. Which makes a change because he’s normally a little late with them.

People say they make their minds up after 10 games. I’ve given him a game extra. Harris must go now. Let the new guy build this season then start next season fresh. This season is over already!

We have tried this formation and tactics all season and its failed with the players looking miserable and disjointed

We went 442 in the week the players looked comfortable and well drilled resulting in a 3-0 win

So what does our manager do ?

Go back to the other system and lose AGAIN

Hes clueless this squad should be in the top 6 now easily

He didn't buy a back up right back when everyone knew we needed it

No matter how you play , football is about winning games , a mentality of winning games and this manager at this moment is not delivering.

As for Moore , is he any better than Patterson?

We need 3 wins in a row but I've said Harris cannot get consistency and that will cost us.... tonight prime example no variety in attacking Bristol....our wingers not beating defenders A forward cannot head in right direction or with any power when aiming at goal! It's not that we played badly we were just ineffective like we've been in most games this season, not sure Harris is going to change what's happening on field as it's been same all season.

We cannot score because Harris' main striker cannot finish or head a ball and we have not moved on at all from Warnock in fact we play an even more pre-historic version.

I didnt get over exited when we signed moore,and to date am not convinced.they had one shot on target,yet a goal!! We should have buried a couple of ours? An undeserved defeat,we move on,as hard as it is to take.

Get the early goal and sit on it knowing we couldn't hurt them and they did it to perfection.

That was a good away performance from them

Why you telling annis,hes not in charge you know,players,especially wasteful moore needs to be benched,cant head the ball,although some fans were creaming themselves,saying we had a proper striker,who can head the ball! Well??
