Nigel Clough will be appointed as Mansfield Town’s new manager within the next 24 hours, Sky Sports News understands.
Clough will reportedly sign a three-year contract with the struggling League Two club, who currently sit in 22nd place despite regular backing from owners John and Carolyn Radford.
The former Reds striker has been out of management since leaving Burton Albion during the first coronavirus lockdown in order to help them save costs.

Got a lot of time for Nigel Clough. Turned down a move to Forest because he didn't want to let Burton down.
