two cult films from 1979....both have great music soundtracks...which is the better film? which do you prefer?
my choice is the warriors, my only gripe is it's too short at only 92 minutes...quadrophenia seems dated

But as I was not a Mod, its the Warriors first for me

Both as good as each other,,, one British and one American. Didn’t the film “Scum” get released in 79 also? Another cult film, imho.

The Warriors hands down, nowt wrong with Quadrophenia but The Warriors just has more of everything I want from that sort of film. Cracking soundtracks on both though.

Both good films, but The Wanderers, which came out around the same time, was better than both I think, it had the gang stuff, lots of humour, and a great soundtrack.

Both great movies.
So many famous people in Quadraphenia.

Both were good but
'Quadrophenia' edges it for me...
Ironic, as I had long hair and was into motorbikes at that age and disliked scooters (still do)
Two other great film from that era were
'Mad Max' and
'Monty Python's The Life of Brian'

Tough one, both great movies. Actually watched Warriors a couple of weeks ago but haven't seen Quadrophenia for a long time probably because it doesn't travel well to any other country and is never shown.
Always enjoyed both but I have to go with Warriors.

This^^
Read the warriors book and the film was nothing like it, enjoyable film but basically a latter day Western. Must confess I've only seen clips of Quadrophina
