“ Well Said “

Tue Nov 03, 2020 10:59 am

Thought this was succinctly put by our Captain Sean Morrison, on what he said after QPR: "I spoke up and said, ‘Look, I’m not here to have a mediocre season. I don’t want to be fighting it out in the middle of the table, we become professional footballers to win things - promotions, games’." :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird:

Now let’s beat Barnsley tonight :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Barnsley are looking for their first away win in their last 5 away games, No away wins this season.

It’s a pity that a few of the other players don’t have that philosophy.

I’ll pick out one.......Bacuna he doesn’t like playing RB and clearly shows that when he’s there.

He cost us the game up at Fulham in the play off.

Bit harsh there buddy. You wouldn't criticize Mozza if he played the odd game up top without scoring.

Telling the truth usually hurts and I can only say what I see. He does tend to go walk about, I agree he’s better in Midfield, Fulham’s goal was down to him not covering when he was full back hmmm.

Don’t start me on Mozza, feel sorry for Moore little or no service/crosses which makes him have to run into the channels which is not his strong point.

He’s not a natural right back. If he’s out of position it’s for that reason.

Karl, I'm in agreement that Bacuna is not 'comfortable' at left back and it shows

He has cost us goals/points; but no more than Bennett and his fruitless forays into the opposition half. However, I also agree that he (Bacuna) is not the man for that position and shouldn't be used there when other options are available

Potentially, Will Vaulks (naturally defensive) could be tried in the absence of Tutu; or possibly even the fleet-footed Gavin Whyte?

Thought Mozza got it right with the way he handled things but we’ve all heard enough excuses this season....results are all that matter till we are back in the hunt.
Going for a city 2-0 tonight and hope the same against the wurzels.
6 points and the atmosphere will change quick enough :bluebird: :ayatollah:

We said last season we needed cover at right back as Jazz was injury prone then we let Peltier go and replaced with Sanderson, then let Jazz and Sanderson go and only replacing with Osei-Tutu so no surprise we are struggling there and Bacuna is not a right back.
