Good luck Harris and Cardiff tonight

Tue Nov 03, 2020 2:19 am

Unlike some fans out there, I hope Neil Harris does well and I believe he will. A win tomorrow to shut up the haters who are actually excited for somebody new to come in. Harris did so well for us last season, I believe he's the guy to put us forward. Yes, we've gone a while without winning, but we've lost 1 of our last 6 games. Can we not over react.

Performances have been abysmal but it's a transition, everyone and their dog can see we're "trying" to adapt a more posession based game, and it's just going through some teething problems. I praise the manager for trying it even without Tomlin and Wilson in the starting 11.

Everyone get off his back, you know as well as I do as soon as Wilson & Tomlin come in it'll be the link between our defence, midfield and attack. As it stands the players (including senior players like Hoilett & Bennett as well as others) have let Harris down big time. We know from last season that Harris can get the best out of them, and I believe he will again, starting tomorrow hopefully.

GOOD LUCK HARRIS! I'm going for a 3-0 Cardiff win. Players will be up for it surely.

Mate with you all the way on wanting Harris to do well and get us the 3pts :thumbright: :bluebird:

But a bit of an over reaction making out other City wants DONT want us to win, just to get rid of him?

We haven’t done well lately, so fans will express their opinions good and bad, does not mean they are not all Bluebirds :bluebird:

We all want to do well and hopefully Harris will win tonight and make us all happy :bluebird: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Don’t think any City fan would want to lose just to see the back of Harris. We’re on a bad patch at moment let’s see if he can fix it. Somethings not quite right so now is the test for Harris to turn it around and show any doubters what he can achieve with this team. :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Possession is not the answer, goals and defense are, last season our possession stats were around the 30% mark and we won many games with that, this season our possession stats read 60+ and we have lost or drawn games, so what does that tell us?

It is not really fair to compare the 'whole' of last season i.e. 46 games with the 9 games we have played so far. You could compare last season's start i.e. the first 9 games with this season. I can't remember fully where we were at this point last year but I have some recall that we didn't start last season to well either, all be it under a different manager.

Life has become so binary nowadays. Its all ones and zero's, its either 100% one way or the other when in fact life i full of subtlety and nuances. I was born in Canton, I have supported us as long as I can remember. I know I don't have to, but i do. I support the Blues and Wales in the egg, its what I am.

So thinking I want us to lose because I think the manager may not be up to it is plain daft, I'd rather be proved wrong as would any of the doubters.

If UK athletics selected Mo Farah for the Olympics in the 400m and he never came out of the qualifying rounds, there would be a tiny minority who'd look at the result and think he is a highly paid world class athlete how come he never got out of qualifying, he lets us down. The majority would be thinking what idiot selected him for the 400m and not the 10000m where is is a gold medal contender.
That's how i look at what's happening. Ralls didn't snatch the ball and say I am playing 10 today. Pack doesn't demand the ball and play back and sideways every game without being told to do so. It's so contrived it looks fake. If that's what the manager wants to do, its up to him until someone relieves him of that job.
