Team v Barnsley

What I suggest is I know controversial as we have tried 3 at the back and it hasn’t work thus far. However our current play doesn’t work because Bacuna is needed in midfield. Also I would bring in Bamba because we need his influence and spirit to raise morale and leadership on the pitch. I’m also a firm believer in not playing senior players just because they are just senior so:

Gavin Whyte? (Havent got a fecking clue tbh, because any manager with some sense would have signed another RB and i cant bare to watch Bacuna play there anymore so why not try Gavin Whyte who cant be any weaker in the tackle than Bacuna .)

After his comments I think it will be damming of any player who is dropped from the team. It will look like it is them he was talking about after the match .

If he chooses that team he will be loading up the gun that will soon be fired at him. Surely he wouldn’t be foolish enough to pick the same side after suggesting that some are letting him down. I wouldn’t be surprised though.
Tbf to him, if he played Benkovic, Bagan, Wilson / Tomlin depending on injury, whatever the result I’d be the first to say ‘at least he tried something different’.

He did say changes will be made so if he starts off like that he might as well pack his bag ready as it'll be the same performance as derby and qpr.

despite his rant yesterday what team he picks will be by and large the team he had already in his mind for the Barnsley game even prior to yesterdays... he along with every other manager has talked about rotation ,fatigue and the relentless shedule... we have the smallest squad we have had in years.. and a conveyor belt of players picking up minor injuries...
whats more important is he plays to the strengths of those he picks and sends them out with intent and belief...

After yesterday’s performance and seeing his post match interview I’m sure we’ll see Glatzel, Wilson and Tomlin all starting. Obviously it depends on Tomlin and Wilson’s fitness, but he did elude to the fact that we can play a different style with those 3. As I keep saying playing with Moore is just not working at the minute, so we have to go with Glatzel. Vaulks won’t be near the starting 11 either I’m pretty sure he had a bollocking at half time and got the hook. The team I’d like to see is:

I’ve gone for Bennett at RB as he can defend a lot better than Bacuna there’s no doubt about that. And that in turn frees him up to go into midfield along side Pack to give us the legs, I don’t want to see him at RB again. Although I wouldn’t mind Ralls in there alongside Pack. The three behind the striker an all interchange between the three positions and it will keep Barnsley defence on their toes. Glatzel starts up front as I feel with Moore starting we just hoof it up to him and nothing comes of it, not really his fault but it affects the whole attacking style we play with or lack of attacking style.

Almost the same but Bennett hasn't played right back before so would put Nelson there and bring in the Croatian

That's a decent side and something I'd go with - the only thing I'd say is I'm not sure if replacing Moore with Glatzel will encourage us to stop hoofing it on occasions. That said I think it is a toss of the coin between the two at the minute so why not give Glatzel the nod.
