Whyte and Bagan

Why is Whyte never given a chance? Murphy is shot. Bagan should defo play on Tuesday instead of Bennett. Harris came on in the 95th minute. Really. That’s scandalous. What the hell was he supposed to do at that stage?

I was very disappointed to see Bagan dropped the moment Bennett was fit again. The young man had done very well in the two games he had played and did nothing to deserve losing his place just because Bennett was fit again.

What sort of message does that give to youngsters trying to make the step up to first team football? Doesn't matter if you do well when you're given your chance you'll be back on the bench again as soon as the senior player you're replacing is fit again?

If you deserve your place in the side you should stay in the team - simple really.

I honestly think that Gavin Whyte is a League 1 player at best. Far too lightweight and should have been sold or sent out on loan this season but frankly I'd have Gavin from Gavin and Stacey in the team ahead of Hoilett or Murphy at the moment.

In fact I'd have Stacey in the team before Hoilett or Murphy.

Apart from the last paragraph, which is only humour  I agree with him, bagan deserved to keep his place,as he had played well in his appearances.and I'm in the camp of if your good enough, you are old enough, and don't buy this burning a 19yr old out,not if they are playing well anyway, the only concern would be physique imo. :old: :bluebird:

Bagan went from Man of the Match to Bench Warmer...

Makes no sense and further ridiculed by Bennett's performance (or lack of) today :(

Whilst I'm not Harris out I find it strange he made that choice as Bagan didn't deserve being benched and he needs to start next game

Spot on. Bagan deserves his place. Harris stated his vision was to bring the youngsters through.
