Harris And My Opinion

Sat Oct 31, 2020 5:52 pm

First of all I 100% want Neil Harris to succeed I think here and now he is still the right fit for Cardiff City. We aren’t splashing the cash like some of the other clubs and he obviously knew that when he took the job and secondly he’s someone who believes in youth and has started to show that with Bagan and Harris in and around the squad.
Where I am having my doubts is his team selections and his inability to spot the obvious. Anyone who has watched our games this season would have spotted the blind obvious No1 midfield you can not play Ralls and Vaulks together in the middle of the park they are to alike and unfortunately suffer the same short comings. No2 Anyone who has seen Josh Murphy during the two years he has been here will if honest testify that he’s yet to put in a shift and have anything like a half decent performance inevitably the Josh Murphy’s of the team will cost him his job. If I am to continue to put my trust in Harris I am starting to worry why he can’t spot the blatantly obvious.
We all have opinions and all think we should be Managers but for me he needs to start picking the side with his best players in there preferred positions and fill in the gaps that are left each game. Bacuna is not the worst right back I have seen play for us but certainly no world beater he needs to start in the middle there has to be alternatives its a given the Leicester lad hasn’t come here to sit on the bench so Nelson seems nailed on to miss out in the middle so must be a short term option at right back I would even consider Gavin White there must be options. It seems madness we have three left backs but only one right back.
As mentioned I would Love Neil Harris to succeed but you have to start proving your credentials and start spotting the blatantly obvious it’s plain to see today’s selection after Derby is baffling.
