Politics again - Alun Wyn Jones

What are your views on the Welsh Government not allowing Alun Wyn Jones' family (as an exception) to watch live at the match vs Scotland, where he will break the world record for number of caps?

Shocking Again  - A few weeks ago over in the USA - NFL - they allowed a few thousand fans in for a game .
In this match the quarter back had not played for years - never thought he would play again but came on late .
Wife and 3 kids were there - big moment for the game /him/family/club over there .......

So why can't his wife and kids see our Captain break more records tomorrow - IN AN EMPTY STADIUM ???

I tend to agree. Probably well over 95% of Welsh people would be sympathetic. What a great occasion for him & his family.
And YET, our bunch of cronies can't see past 'the rules'. Pathetic! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

There are lots of corporate people at games who should not be there (money talks) drakeford was never going to allow this because he likes to be seen to be the great strong leader? As we know got previous for his decision is final..... this decision is pathetic and shows no compassion or humility....
Ps wru should have just put the family on VIP list and not tell WG as not obliged to can argue the toss if it came to it later!

i dont agree with the lockdown full stop....

but certainly dont think there should be exceptions for a rugby game...not while people are restricted from seeing loved ones for the last time...or from attending funerals...

What about all the non playing and non support staff that will be at game Why should they be there? The banning of end of life visiting as been amended long time ago along with partners at births ect think point is a bit of discretion wouldn't have gone a miss considering all the corporate people who will be at game undoubtedly just like in premierleague games

i gave a couple of examples Allan i could give a few thousand more... discretion ? maybe but there must be a hell of a lot of things far more important and worthy of discretion than this blokes wife watching a game of rugby... and premier league games are not in Wales...
