FOUR NEW CHANGES: " CARDIFF CITY TEAM TODAY "

Sat Oct 24, 2020 1:02 pm

Four changes - Osei-Tutu, @Joe_Ralls, @joshmurphy65 & @KRFMoore come in!

Josh Murphy comes in for his first start of the Championship season! Fans have been calling for it and it appears their calls have been heard.

The winger has struggled with fitness and illness at the start of the season, but now he is fit and firing and forms part of a formidable forward line today.

Kieffer Moore comes in to take Robert Glatzel's place, a tough call given how well the German played against Bournemouth in midweek.

Jordi Osei-Tutu is fit enough to return to the starting XI, but Joel Bagan retains his place at left back with Joe Bennett still not fit enough to feature in the matchday squad.

Joe Ralls also comes into the midfield in place of Marlon Pack, who drops to the bench.

STARTING 11

Alex Smithies
Jordi Osei-Tutu
Sean Morrison
Curtis Nelson
Joel Bagan

Joe Ralls
Josh Murphy

Harry Wilson
Kieffer Moore

SUBSTITUTES

Great team selection.

I'm in no way saying Morrison or Nelson should be dropped however Benkovic is gonna be disappointed here. I'm looking forward to seeing him play.
Surely he wasn't loaned to be benched or not in the team at all

Think he’s not totally fit and needs to catch up. I’m sure when he does we won’t see Sol and he will be pressing our main two.
