Dear Mr Drakeford
Try telling the kids Halloween costumes and fireworks are non essential purchases on the 23rd October to the 9th November!
5 events in the kids calender Their Birthday, Easter, Halloween, Bonfire night, and Christmas.
The other 360 days are just a build up to each event.
Can you please reconsider for the sanity of parents, grandparents, Foster parents, careers etc so they can at least have a go in their gardens to enjoy Halloween and bonfire night.

I'm not being funny, there's a lot of reasons to slag WAG off for at the moment but this isn't one of them.
Halloween and firework products have been on sale for the last few months right up until this morning and we were given plenty of notice of the lockdown so if Vince hasn't bought a pumpkin or some fireworks in time then its his own fault on this occasion.

Totally agree, Drakeford and his cronies deserve lots of criticism for some of their ridiculous rules and decisions
However, this is not one of them. People have had all week to get their Halloween items sorted.

Just be inventive and decorate the house and have quality family time leaving sweets hidden for the kids to find . Simple
Bonfire night is a total waste of money, not really sure why we celebrate a terrorist anyway.
Religious nutters trying to kill the king and his parliament because they were not catholic

You must be under 50. Bonfire night was the best day of the year when i was a kid. No organised displays, we did it all ourselves and it didn't cost much. We would collect "bonner for months" and protect our bonfire from other gangs who would launch raids!
