In terms of sheer quality of the opposition, and our quality when we played them, the best result I think I have ever seen from the City has been the 1-0 FA Cup win over Spurs in '77. Man Utd away two years back was exceptional, but Man Utd were really on a downer, and there for the taking.

I’ve seen us beat Everton, league cup game, about 1978. Also seen us beat West Ham, 2004 I think. Arsenal, a couple of home drawers, but No wins,,, and as for Liverpool, Before my time, probably Early 1960’s.
