Bournemouth manager Jason Tindall: "I'm disappointed we hav

Thu Oct 22, 2020 5:34 am

Bournemouth manager Jason Tindall:

"I'm disappointed we have come away with only a point, because I felt we deserved all three.

"The save their keeper made was outstanding and so full credit to him. Junior Stanislas also hit the bar, but there were three or four other chances as well we might have taken.

"But we know all about Harry Wilson. If you give him room from that kind of distance, then nine times out of 10 the ball will end up in the back of the net

"But we have to take the positives - it's six matches unbeaten and we move onto the weekend."

Thats rubbish
It was a good game against two very different but evenly matched teams

A draw was the correct result

He don’t mention about us hitting the bar though. A draw was a fair result, he’s a muppet tbh thinking that they had the given right to beat us. What a tool.

I hate managers who don't give any credit to opponents , he won't make it as a manager with his attitude both before and after the games. All the best managers know when to give credit to his team and when to give it to opponents. Him saying they should have won is telling his players they have failed away to a very good ex Premier league side.
Ook at mourinho the other day, he didn't batter his team in front of cameras he praised west hams fight and accepted the result.

to be fair we have played a lot lot worse than Bournemouth did away from home last night and probably felt we deserved a win.

I think the give away is where Tindall says 'so full credit to him'..

Trying to be impartial, I agree with Tindall. They had the better chances and more of them too. Also their football flowed, their passing was better, they have better skill levels and were able to keep the ball and find their own players in very tight situations in and around our box. I held my breath several times when they got into our penalty area and felt we had a bit of luck on a few occasions.
However, none of that surprised me as they have spent several years in the premier league and spent a ton of money building up a premier league squad. We can feel pleased that we did well to stay in the game and we created a few good chances ourselves and could have won it on another day. That's the beauty of football, the best teams don't always get the results they deserve.

I'm in this camp. Apart from the first 10 minutes of the game, and then the spell that led to our goal we weren't very effective. Bournemouth looked dangerous every time they moved into our half.

They've kept hold of some really good players, there's no shame in them having the better of us.. But I would agree that if anyone "deserved" the 3 points it was Bournemouth.

agree.. thought we were fortunate to still be in the game at half time... 2nd half was better but still thought we pinched a draw ... but...seen Cardiff teams play much much better and lose.. they say it evens out over the season ..
