How long before Hooper turns down a blatant penalty appeal for us, or disallows a perfectly good goal.
Big statement, and yes, its in the past, but the penalty he turned down against Watford in the Prem was the clearest penalty appeal I have ever seen that was not given.
Brentford home last year, Watford home the year before, QPR home the year before. Hooper must be laughing his head off every time he gets us.
It will be inspite of Hooper, if we manage three points tonight

I knew he'd had a few howlers in the past. I just couldn't remember specifically. Cheers

What do you expect from an English ref?

Happy to admit he did OK today, there were no big decisions and I even thought we had the slight rub of the green.

He was ok let a lot if things ho and kept cards in pocket as long as he could and to be fair could have booked more than he did especially city players.

Feared the worst with Stroud and Hooper reffing our last 2 games but they were largely anonymous which is they say the benchmark of a good reffing performance
