West Bromwich Albion have agreed a fee worth around £15m

Thu Oct 15, 2020 8:37 am

West Bromwich Albion have agreed a fee worth around £15m with Huddersfield for striker Karlan Grant.

He is due to have a medical tomorrow - as has been reported in the Daily Telegraph.

Negotiations have been on-going for more than a month, mainly over the structure of payments, and the two clubs have now reached agreement on that area.

It’s thought Albion will pay the majority of the fee in future instalments.

GRANT CLOSES IN ON BAGGIES MOVE

Karlan Grant is undergoing a medical at West Bromwich Albion today, as Slaven Bilic hopes to seal a deal in time for the striker to make his debut against Burnley on Monday night.

Sky Sports News reported yesterday a £15m fee had been agreed with Huddersfield for the striker, with payments spread out in instalments over the course of his new contract.

Final legal details of the deal are still being thrashed out, but it is expected he will sign for Albion before the weekend.
