" Six in a row for Wales "

Six consecutive competitive clean sheets for Wales after tonight's 1-0 win in Bulgaria :thumbright:

The last team to score a competitive goal against Wales were Croatia in a 1-1 draw in October 2019.

Some will point out the opposition we have faced in these six games but regardless, its a very impressive record.

Azerbaijan 0-2 Wales :thumbright:

Wales 2-0 Hungary :thumbright:

Finland 0-1 Wales :thumbright:

Wales 1-0 Bulgaria :thumbright:

Ireland 0-0 Wales :thumbright:

Bulgaria 0-1 Wales :thumbright:

For such a young team with no recognised striker, thought Wales were excellent.
Some real talent coming through ....Norrington Davies looks a decent find.

A win against Ireland, at Home, and we are through

Not saying we dont need to try and win the game against Finland - but what a nice position to be in.

if we beat ROI and Finland beat Bulgaria we will need a point against Finland...
we could lose to ROI and then beat Finland and win the group though

To keep 6 consecutive clean sheets in international football is no mean feat,no matter the opposition, as the saying goes, you can only beat what's in front of you, well done wales, great result for the kids away from home,it was not as if we kicked it imho,we thoroughly deserved the win  :old: :happy1: :old: :bluebird:
