Cardiff City and Barnsley 'quite far apart' on Woodrow valuation and it looks like either club wont give way.

Some reports say Cardiff value Woodrow at £1.5mill, others say less than a £mill, Barnsley want £2mill with add ons.



It is understood that Neil Harris would ideally like at least two players through the door by close of play on Friday.

An attacking player is certainly the priority, with Woodrow fitting the bill given he is capable of playing instead of, as well as in behind, Kieffer Moore if need be.

Neil Harris has stated,"We are short on back up and ideally two to four new players we need, if I can get at least two in before the deadline at least we will have strengthened in some departments."

"I also expect one or two more players to leave as well."

But another position certainly being discussed is right back.

Osei-Tutu has impressed in his five outings so far, but it is unrealistic to expect him to churn out 90 minutes week after week in what is likely to be a gruelling campaign.

Cardiff would have no qualms in slotting Bacuna back in there, as Harris did towards the back end of last season, and would also entertain the notion of playing a left back over on the other flank.

What's the sanderson situation now? He'd be ideal as he can cover at RB and CB. Means we could push Tutu up to RW if needed and switch Ojo onto the left.

Begs the question why leave so late this season understandable without a covid season but during this pandemic there are loads of bargains due to finances of most teams so loans could be done early
i will wait and see but like most season we run out of time or they want to much there's no bargains to be had bla bla.

keeps being mentioned on here but Harris took him off at half time against Fulham and Sandersons only involvement in the 5 games after that was to come as our 5th sub during added time when 3-1 up against Boro .. personally i quite liked him but never thought he was coming back...

Hopefully he's doing more than looking.

Just to add to the stupid posts it's going to be friday the 13th whenever that next is.....

I'm not holding my breath on us signing anyone tbh and if we do I see it a squad player rather than someone who will make us better, havent had a feeling about the club like this since the slade/trollope days
