Was that the clock game Annis? 0-0 draw if it was, mad day, all the pompey came round the back of our stand and were lobbing bricks over at us after the game. The closest I've ever come to lifting a copper under the chin. He shoved me for no reason and said walk over there you Welsh b*stard. I was evil as I didn't expect it and went flying, my mate grabbed my arm before I could chin him, which probably did me a favour.

I remember it well.
The bank to our right emptied at full time then a few hundred charged back in and at us. That could well be that pic.
Great photos Annis. No idea where they come from but keep them coming as they make me feel young again :old:

I was a student in Pompey in those days and was at the match. I stood on the 'North Bank' next to the Fratton End. Cardiff were louder than Pompey and a lot of their fans were 'impressed' with the noise we made. I watched the clock shennanigins and enjoyed every moment :laughing5: :laughing5: :laughing5:
