Who remembers when we would all go in the Canton Stand, Ninian Park and stand and sing?

Loved it in there

From 1982-86 many of us went in there and kept a great atmosphere going

I remember me and my uncle standing near the back of the grange end, and we scored, we ended up near the front after that experience we moved to the bob bank for many years then to the grandstand, (needed to sit down), we were there until we moved to the new stadium

Loved Ninian Park sadly the atmosphere in an all seater stadium will never match it. Not unique to Cardiff it’s the same all over the country.

I spent the 70s beind the goal in the Grange End. Well actually to be precise behind a fence that separated the front and back of the Grange End. I always had my spot waiting for me there unless there was some big game on like the one we had against Leeds in the FA cup. Then Grange End was packed like 2 hours before kick off which to be honest annoyed me as some plastic had pinched my place.

I ended up watching that game from the Bob Bank and it was some experience because it gave me a picture of what the Grange End look like when it was packed. It was a picture of emotion that I have never witness before and never since. This is why I believe we can be a big part of the football scene if we can just get to and stay in the Premier.

too posh for us.
