I remember the baloney about JW the new this the new that could not hold a candle to Ramsay. He is off to the pub league no doubt the Rangers will be delighted but so what I am afraid football is dying in the south where that leaves the Scottish Premier goodness knows.

Rangers tanned, Porto, Feyenoord , Galatasaray and Legia Warsaw in the last year, not bad for a pub side. As for Wiltshire the only way I’d want him is on a pay as you play deal. Why do you say football is dying in the South?

Hi Jock just taking the piss, that said how can any Welshman do that with our crap league ? As you say good solid results I defer to your comments. When my mate went to Leeds United in 1976 as an apprentice 7 of the 1st eleven youth team were Scots?
By the way in lockdown I watched a documentary on the financial bollocks at Rangers beggars belief no wonder John Greig washed his hands and walked I like to hear your opinion on this as a Gers fan

EBTs were used by many clubs to avoid tax, they were legal but well dodgy. HMRC only came after Rangers allowing clubs like Arsenal to settle for I think £10m. Rangers then chairman David Murray sold the club to a con man called Craig Whyte for £1 plus he was to pay any outstanding bills tax liabilities etc. He paid by using future season ticket income from a club he didn’t yet own, didn’t pay VAT or PAYE and put us into administration. Next up was Charles Green (Sheffield Utd) who asset stripped the club, with the help of two brothers (Easdales) from Greenock. They made their money from taxi and bus companies, mysteriously many of their competitors premises caught fire :o they took what they could before the fans got a guy called Dave King,he in turn secured backing from a handful of rich Fans and that’s where we are now. All the while Ashley was in the background, Green sold the shirt sponsorship to him for a pound and the Stadium naming rights for the same amount. My take on it is a bunch of sociopathic greedy bastards rinsed my club, John Reid used his influence which is why HMRC pursued us so relentlessly, they spent millions and recouped nothing. Lloyd’s bank were eying up Murray’s other companies (property and steel) so under pressure from them (they had a man on Rangers board by this time) he threw us to the wolves. The fallout from this with Celtic fans and others doing everything they could to kill us off completely changed my attitude to things. I now hope that once all the facts about the industrial scale child abuse that Celtic facilitated comes out (possibly never under the SNP) they are thrown out the game. I’m only scratching the surface her mate, it’s a Cardiff board so I’ll leave it at that.
