In my opinion , it is time for player to move on.
As much as I have loved watching him play for us, I think in current needs we had to offload him, wages high, and as for fee.. only worth what others are willing to pay.. no one else has come in and offered more.
His best time for bus was when he was up front, however, he wasn’t the answer.
Wish him good luck for the future..
Still hope Wednesday go down, should of been then not Wigan..

Have to agree with.

He was obviously a character in the dressing room, but can anybody tell me the last time he scored a goal for us without looking it up? I’m not 100% sure whether he’s actually improved since joining us or whether he had a purple patch which we’ve seen with other players in the past. Nevertheless, I’m glad he did well with us for a while and I wish him all the best at SHW

Fair enough if you are selling a player who is not likely to be a starter in your team but losing such a player who can cover a number of positions in an emergency is going to seriously weaken the squad.
Again, fair enough if you replace the player with one as good or hopefully better but is anybody confident that we'll do that before the window closes?

Unfortunately not

Well there was no point keeping him if he wasn't going to be picked. I don't think he would have been too happy with sitting on the bench and, for all we know, despite him being disappointed he might have made the decision that it was best for him to move too.
Personally I would pick him my first eleven at the moment and doubt many would. If we were to make another signing to bolster the subs bench that this would be more palatable but the only reason I have concerns over the sale is the lack of numbers we now have.
From what I've heard the NML was a decision the club had to make but this one leaves us a bit thin on the ground. Let's hope the club have something up their sleeve.
