Once you've crossed the great divide there's just no coming back.

Been tried at lots of clubs but been rejected by all of them. He was given some Premier League appearances for us when we were struggling and I think this has given him ideas above his level. If he wants to play regularly he is going to have to drop down to League 1 or 2. Showed great promise but never quite fulfilled it.

its not ideas, clubs are signing him... possibly this will be the last at this level though..

and that season in the prem... is still the most appearances he has made in a season..

you have to feel for him though, promising winger coming through the academy, then told to play left back, and then all clubs have been signing him as a left back, if he played wing, he'd probably make a decent career by now

are you sure he came through the academy playing as a winger ?

I seem to recall he was a striker rather than a winger.

A more than decent player and a bit disappointed he didn't get more game time at Swansea, he is a better winger than defender and technically good but kept out of the side by Bidwell who ironically has been converted to a wing back which fulfills both functions.

Hes not a full back

He is a forward player

Hes very similar to Sanderson and Tutu at the moment , much better going forward than defending.

He will end up at a Rotherham or Wigan level and have a good career

He 100% did my son was in the same academy side as him He was a talented winger Never played at the back until he was 17 and it was clear then He could not defend

He was playing regularly for Rangers and doing well until Gerrard became their Manger and he brought his mate from Liverpool to replace him! Not sure why he didn’t play more games for the Jacks but again the Manager didn’t rate him!

Wouldn’t exactly say loved but he always put a shift in, definitely better attacking than defending.

At least 6 of the teams in the Scottish Premier are barely League 1 level - just right for him, I’m afraid.

yeah what you say is mostly right, however you got to realise when those teams play against celtic and rangers, it becomes their cup final, so celtic and rangers have to perform, otherwise they get found out.
