Oh so it is the media influencing me...now I understand, there I was lost in my own inability to form an opinion through reasoned analysis and judgement. Thanks Josh I was a cretin being hoodwinked by that award winning bozo Bob Woodward.Also I was influenced by the obvious "fake news" story about injecting toxic substances into one's veins to kill covid 19 . I will now enlighten myself by an intake of Fox news for six hours a day and relish their unbiased approach to journalistic excellence.
As they say do not underestimate people's ability to be stupid!

its all biased, both sides, and bob woodward is not second to none either... very well known but churning out pretty non event books on the back of his notoriety.. what exactly is in that book or his last 3 or 4 books that had not been said prior ? thats not investigative journalism , you could have written it... or most of his other books of late...a man that defended a pulitzer prize winner who had won on the back of a fictional story passed off as factual. because it was a good story. ?

Fake news? Trchnically not, in the fact that he was literally discussing the possible use of disenfectants in the treatment of COVID and talked about internal treatments.

A completely different narrative to what he was actually saying, 100%.

Context is important and if you watch the press conference he is essentially in a conversation exploring ideas with his senior health advisor.

I dont particularly think it is a good thing to do in front of a media mob waiting to pick you apart on everything you say, but it is refreshingly honest and transparent approach, the complete antithesis of the polished scripted performances of career politicians happily lying to us all and that is a huge part of Trump's appeal.

He might be polarising but those love him think of him as their guy and will be out in droves to vote for him.

Most democrat voters aren't voting for Biden they are voting against Trump and in any normal election that would mean a red wave.

With mail in voting, the game can easily be rigged though so who knows what will happen.

tbh i find it very difficult to read anything about American politics without doubting what i read...lists of Trumps lies and by the time you get to number 3 or 4 you come to something you actually heard him say, which is not what the lie list says..its lies about lies..then you have Trump dismissing all news as fake news.

US President Donald Trump has been taken to hospital less than 24 hours after testing positive for coronavirus.

Mr Trump began exhibiting "mild symptoms" of Covid-19 on Thursday after disclosing that he and his wife had gone into quarantine late Wednesday.

He received a cocktail of drugs as a "precautionary measure", the White House said, and was feeling "fatigued but in good spirits".

He was transported to Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre.

A White House spokesperson said in a statement: "President Trump remains in good spirits, has mild symptoms, and has been working throughout the day.

"Out of an abundance of caution, and at the recommendation of his physician and medical experts, the president will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days.

"President Trump appreciates the outpouring of support for both he and the first lady."
