It is easy to be a critic but it either looks like him or it doesn't and this certainly does not.

It’s outside Whitchurch High School so clearly it’s a nod to his roots, he was still studying there by the time he was signed for Southampton and his Wales debut was when he was a teenager. As a teenage version of Bale it’s pretty decent I think.

maybe its not him.. maybe its a very good likeness of someone wearing a top with Bale on the back ? seen a couple of people with fabio on their shirts who didnt even have curly hair ?

Also the mural is at least 5 years old, it’s not a recent commission. I remember it being there before the Euros.

i think some will see big similarities ,others wont , as with a lot of drawings/paintings.. but would anyone think it was Bale without it on the shirt ? i wouldnt..

Some harsh comments but looks like people thought it had just been done.

It's not a bad go of a young Gareth Bale to be fair.

Very true, I mean I don't look like a picture that was taken of me
5 years ago either, I doubt many people do

It's not perfect but it's not a bad effort of a Gareth Bale as he looked at THAT time.
