Let’s start with Covid19 is a real Virus, But is it as bad as we are being told and are we being lied to on a horrendous scale ?


Well let’s go back to the beginning of the year when we heard about this deadly Virus originating in Wuhan. We saw videos of the people of Wuhan dying in the streets. They were like zombies and it strictly mirrored someone on Crystal meth or Spice.
But now we know people don’t die of Covid that way but it was the start of the fear they was installing in everyone.



Then we heard about Italy that people were dying on a massive scale not seen before, the hospitals were full and we were seeing pictures of the hospitals in total disarray, but those pictures was being used in different countries, we had photos of lines of coffins. And the fear factor was in full swing.



But here in the UK cases started to mount up and I remember seeing an article on Sky News on the stages of having covid and how you will die of this virus. An horrendous piece of journalism I have ever seen. The public is now very afraid. We had our PM who stated he had this virus, next thing he was in hospital then he was in intensive care. We was told to pray for Boris.
But two weeks later he is miraculously back behind his desk. The public was now afraid if he could have this virus so could they.



The hospitals we were told were full to capacity only to find out this was an out and out lie. One hospital even was saying there A&E was full and there was a massive tent in the car park which was also full. Only to find out there was a massive tent in the car park but was never used.

We got told the NHS staff was at breaking point with the stress of so many deaths of covid, but the reality was we was seeing video after video on empty wards on Tik Tok dancing and laughing and joking around.
No social distancing.



People were told stay away from your elderly parents as if you see them you could kill them, Grandkids was told the same, Families was kept apart and most complied not wanting to feel the guilt of being responsible for there deaths. We was told to stay in our houses and the Government would basically pay you to stay home.
Now the public are so frightened many were calling for marshal law, we are now being told to spy on your neighbours and to report them if you saw if they had anyone who is not part of that household and they was instructed tomphone a grassing hotline to report them.

To watch your neighbours to see if they went out for exercise more than the allowedonce of once a day or if they were longer than an hour. Not since Nazi Germany has a nation been told to spy and report there Neighbours.

Government advisors was drawing up plans to keep us locked up etc only for them to break those rules themselves. In the meantime people was to frightened to visit a hospital for serious illnesses or those that have just come up with symptoms, god knows the amount of deaths we will see in the coming months due to this.

Then there was the famous break in reporting of Covid after a certain person died in America. Then the press was encouraging disorder and the tearing down of statues. No longer was they concerned about social distancing just telling us they was peaceful protests. Then a few weeks later Covid made the return and again social distancing was very important again.

And now to the present time and the government knows a national lockdown could see civil unrest as more people will lose their jobs and businesses.
Pubs will close down for good along with many small businesses, the airline industry are in serious trouble with even more job losses to come.
And all this for a death rate of 0.075%.
So calling for a National lockdown would not go well they are now locking down the UK County by County City by City. Little by little and before we know it the UK will be in lockdown again. And all this despite hardly any hospital admissions and next to no deaths but deaths from suicide at the moment is sky rocketing.

But the government now know a frightened public is right in there hands. We are to,d we can’t gather in groups of more than six unless you are hunting.

We was told at the beginning that masks would not protect you but now we are being told they do. We are told that unless we do as they say many will die mainly the elderly etc, but it was the government who told hospitals that care home patients that had covid was to be sent straight back into the care home system so they could say our elderly are dying in care homes.

In the meantime other viruses and illnesses continue to dwarf Covid in the death stakes. Now I firmly believe in a few weeks time we will be under a total lockdown with a harshness of matrial law. If you don’t think we would look at Victoria in Australia who are living under a martial law and police brutality.

And just to say if there was no news channels would you even know this Virus was about ?
The government have kept you away from family and friends they have stopped many from working they have covered your face. And tell me are you comfortable with this ?
Remember the death toll has also been manipulated because to be counted as Covid all is required at death is they died with Covid and not of Covid.
And the tests are flawed as they are picking up dead covid cells and that is being counted as a positive result.

I agree that it somehow seems less important. To me it’s more important than anything. If the infection rate is rising but deaths aren’t then that tells me that for whatever reason, it’s not as deadly as it was. I do understand that one person dying is a tragedy but am I right here?

This one could be "estimated number of deaths from Covid saved by further restrictions" versus "estimated number of deaths from other causes (heart disease, undetected cancers, cancelled operations, suicides, mental health issues etc) which will be directly attributable to further restrictions"

Or how about one showing "number of hospital admissions for treatment for Covid" versus "number of hospital and GP appointments cancelled due to Covid".

Or maybe a graph showing "number of people who have died as a direct result of Covid" versus "number of people who have tested positive for the virus and recovered completely".

Somehow I doubt very much that such information would fit in with the current agenda which appears to be nothing more than putting the shit up as many people as possible for as long as possible.

Totally agree. The media are no better. There are a lot of scientists who have a different view but no balance. When do these ever get air time on the BBC. None of the people making these decisions are facing the closure of their business or the loss of their jobs and homes. The last time we had something like this, I can't remember its name, 1 in 3 people died. It was a century or so ago and we did not have the communications to prepare for it like we do today. As you say Covid came out at the start of the year and by March we were in Lockdown. If its as bad as that plaque a century or ago then thanks to our communications we have prevented it killing 1 in 3. Something to keep on the back of your mind with the operative word IF.

The Govt. /opposition haven't a clue - they take instructions virtually on an hourly basis from S.A.G.E. The sight of 2 doctors lecturing the nation - without allowing questions- should surely convince people of that.

Politicians are terrified of blame. So let's save as many old people - most who would have died within 24 months anyway - at the expenses of many,many more younger people with cancer etc., who have [or had] their whole lives in front of them. That's an inconvenience that politicians - and interestingly the medical 'experts' as well - have avoided discussing. That's a problem for someone else - we'll be long gone by then, so it won't be our problem.

It's terrible and I agree the economic affects will last for years, the government in hindsight locked down too late and had to remain in lockdown for too long, now they need to get the virus under control steadily to avoid another lockdown, they have to learn from that mistake.

If people ignore the measures now, the virus will continue to increase and spread and further restriction will be needed.

It's just a bit of control for six months and then there will be some protection from a virus, of course we have to live with it, but we can't ruin the country forever with another full lockdown.

The last time we had something like this, I can't remember its name, 1 in 3 people died. It was a century or so ago and we did not have the communications to prepare for it like we do today. As you say Covid came out at the start of the year and by March we were in Lockdown. Well I guess no one directly whatever their skill set but you would think they are implying it going n the scare tactics being used.

Let's just take your premise at face value and assume the OP is riddled with conspiracy theories (for the record, I think it is a very good documentation of the last 6 months in fairness) what would you attribute the consistent lack of logic within the government's approach to the pandemic?

I honestly don't know what thought scares me more to be honest, to think this is all planned by some global secret shadow cabal of evil doers hell bent on enslaving us all, or to realise that every single government on the planet has proven to be grossly incompetent.

Think we might be screwed either way.

Exactly virtually every country in the World has brought in some measures and had a negative effect on their economies. they've done it for fun as the virus is a hoax according to some of these

Why do governments try and exaggerate the dangers, to get through to the real thicko's that can't take a subtle message of we need you to start taking slightly less risk to reduce the spread of the virus.

We had a massive sovereign debt problem before 2008 implosion, we now have that amplified by 10.
the virus is the least of our future problems.
Think the 1980s job scene on steroids .
the modern generation have never seen mass unemployment.
wonder why the army are being called in now to help for practice for 2021.

It's terrible and I agree the economic affects will last for years, the government in hindsight locked down too late and had to remain in lockdown for too long, now they need to get the virus under control steadily to avoid another lockdown, they have to learn from that mistake.

If people ignore the measures now, the virus will continue to increase and spread and further restriction will be needed.

It's just a bit of control for six months and then there will be some protection from a virus, of course we have to live with it, but we can't ruin the country forever with another full lockdown.

Its just for 15 days, to flatten the curve...

You only have to wear your mask in the pub when you get up to go to the toilet, your fine at the table...

Its only a local lockdown this time...

Its only another six months lockdown, we'll be good after that...
