LEE TOMLIN STARTS AS CAPTAIN AND LEADS OUT A CITY TEAM WITH A NUMBER OF FIRST TEAM PLAYERS INCLUDED :bluebird:

Great to see Tomlin starting :bluescarf:

Another local derby match, Cardiff City’s last one resulted in a 5-1 defeat to Swansea last week.

Mark Harris and Gavin Whyte are experienced as well


Bristol City had

BristolCity had six 'club-developed' players in the match squad , with four finishing on the pitch.


We can’t continuously make excuses 11 years later why we are so bad with what players are coming through, results don’t lie and players coming through is zero.

Totally agree Annis, our development system is abysmal and probably has the worst record of producing players in the whole of the UK

It’s just not good enough and needs to be completely revamped or just closed down

Scrap youth and go the Brentford model....much more better to make money.

These games are to get players fit and if we are lucky maybe 2 or 3 young players will get into the first team.
Results at this level don't matter.
