Got to say it was refreshing to hear him on the news this morning actually giving the government some credit for what there doing and said if we all do what there telling us we will get through this , instead of political points scoring ,on the Kay burley show ,

Yep, he's always impressive and seems really genuine (very unusual for a politician of any persuasion

).
If he was leader of the opposition I think Boris's time in office would be even more limited.

Got a lot of time for him.
Doing a good job in Manchester.

He did a great job with the Hillsborough scandal and he is an Evertonian!

What did he say?
For what its worth I dont think they can do right for doing wrong with some people.
It's a shitty situation and basically unprecedented.

I have the privilege of knowing Andy Burnham through work related circles and he is a top guy!
He thinks thoroughly before he speaks, crosses his words and battles wisely and is contrite enough to give others (some may say opposition) credit where it is deserved, i.e. he is not a political points scorer!
He could/should have got the Labour leadership over Jeremy Corbyn but was thwarted by the embarrassing recruitment of thousands of 'lefties' into the party at the eleventh hour
Not without possibility he will be back in the House one day and in the highest Office

He is decent bloke, but why would he want to serve in Labour again. They despise people like him, and he would be watched by the komissariat. Thats no fun..

But if he was elected as leader the majority clearly wouldn't despise him

Not all would like him but Boris splits opinion in the Tory party so no different to any other political party !
Not sure what your logic is there !!
I do think he will be the next Labour leader, just a matter of timing.
