What a difference it makes to see a player who actually knows his role in the team and how to play it
Glatzel needs to watch and learn from Moore because they look leagues apart in ability and Quality
All the excuses about not having support and being isolated are now being shown to be rubbish, its all about movement and knowing how to get into the right positions.

If he carries on like this he could prove to be the bargain of the century

I was only thinking that before half time and the signs are good
Both goals today were striker classics; the first a great header having git away from his marker and the second a goal of a hungry striker keeping up the effort to get to the ball at all costs
Impressive so far today and a augs well

Without pissing on someone fire this is a very weak Forest defence. Even so, you can only play your best against the players put in front of you.
Its early days to judge Moore but it is looking good for him with us. If an opponent is suffering he looks like he will punish them. That's half the boxes ticked for me.

City playing to his strengths and also have players playing off him! Since when did city do that with our previous forwards? But Moore is a proper forward with a forwards instinct and movement which is what we've been missing.. having said that forest pose little threat which does help us.

Didn’t realise until today how long we have gone without a decent centre forward. Jesus the difference it makes! Even with ojo on the wing who so far doesn’t look up to much we are so dangerous. Before keiffer we needed our wingers to be 8/10 every game to look a threat. Now we don’t

The excuses can be made for a few of our strikers. The fact is this is the same system and players that Glatzel plays with, they make the same chances but only Moore at the moment seems to get in the positions to take them. I doubt any of our other strikers would have even been close to the ball let alone score those two goals today.

I wanted moore in jan but a lot of fans on here said only because he plays for wales
Well yes but you had a chance to see more of him and draw an opinion and in mine from watching him play for wales he was what we needed but we must also have wingers who can supply him

Yes I agree the Forest defence was awful in the first half, but as you say you can only play against what's in front of you. So whilst I am very pleased for KM and encouraged by his performance today we need to see this level of productivity on a regular basis.

I was really impressed by him when Wigan played us last season at CC stadium. His movement for a big man is pretty decent and he he's got a deft touch as was seen by the superb heel flick goal he scored. Could definitely be the first 20 goal a season striker since Chopra.

Took his chances and was good on the ball.
Good performance by him today.
Strikers are obviously judged by goals, so he's made a good start and it was important for him to get at least one goal today to help him kick on - especially as he didn't score a goal against Sheffield Wednesday.
I said on the MOTM topic that the saves Smithies made were saves that would be unforced errors if he didn't save them and conceded a goal. The same goes for Moore - particularly the first goal would have been a bad miss if he hadn't scored. Good movement by him on the second goal to create the chance for himself.
If he keeps taking his chances, he's doing his job well.
He was my MOTM today.

Just watched highlights, he definitely knows how to be in the right place at the right time which is essential for a good striker.

If only we had wingers who can cross from the bye line.
If only we had central midfielders who can feed wingers into space.
Personally I’d prefer a more mobile set of forwards as in Dave Jones’ day but as Harris is intent on a big CF at least we have one of the best in the league.

Agreed, but only IF he carries on in the same vein

not knocking him,but it's a long old season, and he will have dips, let's hope the fans don't turn when he does eh? But today was a great starting point, but I want a hat trick next game

Moore looks a good forward, he can predict where the ball is going to be and is a threat up front. It massively concerns me that we are playing with 2 inside forwards though as Keiffer will get no service. We need a right winger and Ojo isnt it.

The other massive difference is we are no longer totally reliant on Morrison from corners and long throws, we have two targets and both will cause panic and create extra space for the rest, teams will be petrified when we have a dead ball situation in their area.

Agreed, but don't underestimate the impact of his ability to hold the ball up and play others in too.
That, ultimately, could be more important than the number of goals he scores.
The pass he played to Ralls in the first half would have been put away by any player with a finishing instinct. He carried the ball well into that position and was calm in delaying the pass until the perfect time. It will be interesting to see who Harris decides to play with him but that could be a really important decision.
Tomlin fits the bill but I'm not sure we can get more than 50% of the games out of him.
