Covid 19 Testing Flawed - According NY Times Article

I just heard about Caerphilly, my home town, going into lock down again - and am dismayed My sister, who still lives there, said that there are only 165 'cases' (not sure why they call positive tests 'cases') out of a population of 181,000.

As I understand it current testing procedures are not capable of measuring the amount of virus present - tell me if I'm wrong.

The amplification process is in place because they haven't actually isolated the virus. These tests attempt to identify RNA that they believe is indicative of the presence of the virus - but this is not proven. I have heard that this RNA could also be present in other Corona viruses, such as the common cold.

If the above is true, and testing is continued, we could have regular lockdowns in the winter months when people are more likely to catch the common cold. This is absolute madness. Deaths should be the determining factor in making policy decisions associated with Covid, not so called cases. The current very small death rate does not justfiy this action. Remember when they told us that lockdown was necessary to 'flatten the curve' because the NHS may not be able to cope. Well the curve is as flat as a pancake so why the hell are they doing this?

flattening the curve...those were the days eh... and the magical R number which everything revolved around.. where the equation was easily available but what exact numbers they had used were top secret... and which only works anyway if your going to be consistent with testing numbers..

Here's the thing, the media and general herd mentality has done a grand job on having this strange view that conspiracies do not exist... Despite crime dramas and documentaries being the most popular on Netflix, ITV, BBC etc.

There are some bizarre "ideas" that people float around no doubt about it, but remember, there are people that are purposely putting disinformation online and paying people to make outlandish statements just to discredit people that are getting too close to the truth.

David Icke for instance being an example of controlled opposition. Say 90% of the things he talks about are true (I'm on about the sensible, provable things such as corruption at government level and BBC - Saville, Hall, Ted Heath etc., Royal family being part of a large elite bloodline) but then he'll talk about completely unprovable things like the moon being hollow and the royals being shapeshifting lizards

So then Icke literally just has to turn up to an event that the mainstream wants discredited. He's done their job for them without uttering a word.

Anyway Skidenim, you're spot on to think conspiracy, as I think there is enough evidence out there that governmental crimes are being committed worldwide at the moment... Perhaps moreso by the "philanthropists" that pull government strings.

I didn't realise someone else had posted this - I don't come on here every day. It's good to see that many of us on here are sceptical. I'd like to believe that there is no conspiracy, but the evidence is mounting from all over the world. The Covid authoritarian over-reaction cannot be reduced to utter incompetence imv, and it fits in with other things that are happening. But that's too complicated and lengthy to discuss now - at close to midnight. I really hope that you are right and I'm wrong. If it is a conspiracy of sorts, it doesn't amount to people meeting secretly or on Zoom, to discuss a communist takeover of the world or something similar; rather it's about people in positions of power and influence who share a certain ideology and an agenda (such as UN Agendas 21 and 2030) and are not giving good advice to governments. It's about governments being afraid to let go of control in very uncertain times and it's about financial interests being pursued. It could also be about government's contractual obligations to pharmaceutical bodies during a pandemic. Our goverment is seeking to change certain laws around vaccines, that are cause for great concern. I will post something about that soon.

more than anything else public acceptance has really shocked me.. not so much initially when i thought people were just assuming this really was that bad.. but as time rolls on and none of your mates, family people in the street, celebrities or sports stars. have died.. surely then you start clicking on links from those concerned.. it really doesnt take much effort to find facts out from official sources that contradict what youve been led to believe.. we havent been lied to so much as been fed a negative narrative ..

Have to agree,sadly through personal experience (I haven't lost anybody OF covid) but am in the process!! The goverment/s have done enough on getting the general populous begging to be "saved"!By them
The "madatory vaccine" is on its way folks,your freedom as a human being is being eroded daily,lockdowns will be the "new normal" the constant scaremongering has had a desirable effect,we locked ourselves away politely when asked to do so,I bet they didn't think it would be so easy to control the population,without a protest in sight!! Or a drop of blood spilled

I don't fall for all the conspiracy bollocks, it's a nasty virus that could kill the very old and sick, but is fairly harmless to the young and fit, the government had to do something so that the NHS could cope, now better treatments and understanding means it is slightly less dangerous, and the NHS is better prepared.

I think youngsters, especially students moving around the country and then going back home will be the main spreaders this Autumn and Winter because even if we close pubs they will still meet up, and go on the booze.
