Former Spurs man makes Bale admission

Former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson believes it will be difficult for Gareth Bale to leave Real Madrid this summer due to his hefty wages.

The Wales international has long been out-of-favour under Zinedine Zidane in the Spanish capital and has been heavily linked with a move away from the La Liga champions.

However, Robinson admits he'd love to see Bale return to former club Spurs.

“I think it would be brilliant, it would be a fantastic move for the club and for Bale, but it’s going to be a very, very difficult one to pull off," he told bookmakers.co.uk.

“He’s in a bit of a stalemate at Real Madrid but I can think of a lot of reasons why he won’t be moving anywhere. He’s certainly not on a wage that would fit Tottenham’s structure, there would have to be a lot of manoeuvring and the deal would need to be cleverly constructed.

“But for football players in general, we’re being deprived of watching one of the world’s best players. Relationships at Real Madrid have obviously broken down and he’s nowhere near Zidane’s thoughts for the squad, but it’s difficult for him to move on when he’s earning the money that he’s on, particularly at his age.

“He’s 31 now and although he’s not going to demand that sort of money in his next move, he’s still earning a vast amount of money. But, as I said, we’re being deprived of seeing one of the world’s best players play in what could be the peak of his career.”

I’ve just about had a gutsful of any speculation on Bale.He needs to drop his wage demands and get anew club and prove to the world of football that he still got a bit of footballing life in him.

I was right behind Bale originally but the longer it goes on it is becoming a joke,he will be remembered as the most expensive footballer to sit on his arse rather than the player who once graced the football pitch.
Can you imagine Him having stinkers for Wales and us fans turning on him!

I'm sure there's a lot more to this than simply Gareth "sitting on his arse" but both he and Real Madrid (a renowned 'bullying' club) need to make decisions on what they really want

the last bit yes...that can happen anyway though... but i for one will never forget the summer of 2016 which without him more than anyone else just couldnt have happened...
as for all the speculation its not of his doing, its others making these stories up some of which are ridiculous...
