As corvid testing is not compulsory he can refuse to have one as long as tests are required for players..... what I can't fathom why would anyone agree to such a stupid amount of money to be let out contract? Obviously its Barca that made the original contract..... will get messi bit like bale situation.

It may well get like the Bale situation, short term at least.
I think Messi believes the buy-out clause finishes at the end of the season (as it overrun due to covid) whilst Barcelona are saying it finished in June.
I expect it’ll be a battle of the lawyers to interpret the contract.

Not sure about lawyers as la liga say contract is valid and they hold his registration ... CAS could get involved to arbitrate on the legality of contract due to corvid...... suspect if they do messi will win as we are in unprecedented times

But messi as to much power for barca not to backdown in some way best if they started negotiating with him on how he leaves club amicably after 20yrs! But as seen with reals treatment of bale move to China greed is what matters.....

But why have an amount that is non sensicle? Barca wasnt going to get 645m even when he was 25yrs old never mind 33! Now going to have battle with only one winner and it's not Barca...
