CARDIFF CITY CHARITY SHIELD WINNERS 1927

Cardiff won the trophy in 1927 but I cant find any photos of Cardiff with the Trophy or any photos from that game. Can anyone help?

I looked also and they seem to be a rarity but tha match details are...

Yes that's about the best I could find too. It's a shame there's not one photo about of the team with the shield. Even the Cardiff city books I have here there's not much mention of the game.

The charity's that benefitted were...

      King Edward VII's Hospital for Officers received £210;
      National Institute for the Blind, £52 10s;
      Newspaper Press Fund, £52 10s;
      National Institute of Journalist's Orphans, £52 10s;
      London Lock Hospital, £52 10s;
      Prince of Wales General Hospital, £52 10s;
      Sheffield Royal Infirmary, £52 10s;
      Railway Benevolent Institution, £25;
      and the Surgical Aid Society received £25.
      A further sum of £210 was given to several Welsh based charities.

This is an obscure fact that I thought I heard many years ago or could just as easily be the made up thoughts of an aging idiot (me)

Weston-super-Mare FC have the only photo in their clubhouse of Cardiff City with both the FA Cup and Charity Shield together?????
