Can't see this being anywhere near the truth tbh if we had 5 mill to spend,I'm sure Harris would rather spend it on other areas,such as someone to slot in for tomlin when he needs a rest.or right back even? But as it is silly season,ricardo quaresma (remember him from euro 2016,portugal) is a free agent,yes he's 35,but having watched him for beşiktaş over a couple of years,the man has some serious skills,and is a superb crosser,and chips in with goals and assists,we Could do worse,only a season long contract of course,but no fee involved,so could offer him a good wage! At his last club,kasimpasa,he wasn't on big money,these teams don't have it in Turkey. With the exemption of the Istanbul clubs
The same could be said of Vydra, he could come here and be a flop? Yes,he has played at this level fair enough,but it doesn't always work out,for one reason or another? Quaresma oozes class,even at 35,and as said in thread,what a statement that would make! With him and Tomlin in the side,we would have plenty of creativity in the team and no little skill to boot.
