This Saturday 2,500 Football Fans will attend / But Drakefor

There will be a test crowd of 2,500 for Brighton v Chelsea this Saturday, but the in Wales Drakeford says NO to a 2,500 crowd for Cardiff City v Cheltenham in another pre-season friendly .

Cardiff spent quite a lot of money and time doing everything possible to make it happen and we’re backed by Swansea City, Welsh Rugby Union and evening Doctors and scientists. Cardiff brought advisors in and had drafted up plans etc . But Drakeford would not even consider it happening.

2,500 fans allowed in Brighton v Chelsea game on Saturday as part of test events! Other sporting fixtures will also feature spectators In coming weeks in England.

What have the club actually spent a lot of money on to accommodate social distancing? Surely it's just painting one way arrows on the floor and marking one set of turnstiles as an entry and one as an exit?
Unless they've ripped up every other row of seats and built new bars and toilet facilities to create larger spaces between fans I can't see how the club could've spent anything more than the cost of a few tins of paint and arrow shaped stickers.

I don’t think the financial cost was that huge but a lot of people put time and effort into putting together a well thought out proposal to allow some spectators into the ground

Dripford being the complete tw*t he is didn’t even consider the proposal seriously. He would have had to make a decision an that was never going to happen because he has no bottle
