I 100% agree with this and def won’t be buying for my family, sad that we are relieved that’s it’s Blue, should not be even having to think about no other colour . Some will have their different opinions and everyone’s should be respected

Plus I personally can’t stand the badge anyway, but have bought all previous Blue tips for my daughters, but this is so plain and boring:bluescarf:

The majority are over all let down by the design, but just pleased it’s blue.


No thought or imagination put in to the new shirt many fans are saying on twitter and to Wales on line.


Cardiff City fans have been busy weighing on the new home and away kits for the 2020/21 Championship season.

While supporters had been growing somewhat impatient ahead of the big reveal, fans have been a little divided on the home strip: many, of course, happy it is blue, but others underwhelmed with a lack of a fresh look.

The new designs dropped on Thursday morning, with fans calling for more input and a more imaginative model.

Subtle changes have been made to the home blue kit, featuring what the club described as a "sublimated wave design on the front of the shirt with a dash green tipping on the sleeves and collar, with the Adidas three stripes across the shoulders in white".

The away strip is "dash green with a tonal camouflage with neck detailing and three stripes in navy".

But others were more than pleased, appreciating the fact it was blue after the colour change everyone would rather forget from 2012.

Cardiff's release of the new kit comes little more than a week ahead of their first game of the new season against Northampton Town in the Carabao Cup on September 5.

Could never understand the rush to buy these kits when launched at start of season. They'll be half price in 7 months time. Crazy!!

Im sure last years kit is still good enough to wear. Cracking one that.

I'm pretty sure they use one of Adidas's pre made templates. So I'm assuming a custom one would cost more.

Personally i think its smart. And the away top even better.

Its all opinions but I quite like it. Its Blue, it has a bluebird on the shirt. Job done as far i am concerned. The season we went up the shirt was even more bland than that. The away shirt will be popular with the kids. My son has already put in his request. At £40 for a junior shirt, what a racket this all is!

Love it....bit of a throwback where sponsors logo didn’t spoil the shirt

And def better than having a bookies/casino etc all over the shirt

I've not bought a shirt since the rebrand and wont be until that dispicable wiggly worm goes.

I've no problem with the advertising though.

Highly disappointed. Sad thing is my grandson loves the white kit but I’d never buy that as long as I have a hole in my arse.

Everyone always complains when the kit first comes out. It's blue and white kit and from a great manufacturer. Ok the badge isn't ideal and personally I'd love to see a yellow trim but there's nothing wrong with the design.

Have to say,I don't always buy the top,but am happy enough with these,that for the 1st time in years I will buy both home and away tops,my only TINY gripe would be the green band on the sleeve of home top,would be better if yellow was used instead,but as I said,a TINY gripe.

I like it.
Plain blue for Bluebirds. We are not bluegreenbirds or blueyellowbirds, or any other colour, just plain Bluebirds.
No stripey, hoops, or squares are needed.
I won't be buying it because of the worm on the badge.

Whatever the design you’ll never please everyone, I wish we’d go back to red for the away kit so I could also wear it at Welsh games!

Just saw what I assume is swans away kit? Its like peppermint colour with red Swansea university logo imprinted on bottom half!! In fact some of other teams kits are just as weird...

I don't get where the "majority of fans don't like it,but at least it's blue" quote comes from,I haven't been asked by anyone if I liked it or not,just gave my opinion on here,and it seems a lot on here are happy with it,as am I.f@ck me with what's been going on around the world lately,people want to shout out they don't like the kit? Then simply don't buy it? I've seen,and worn far worse,supporting the Bloobirds.
