I can see your point.
But the fact is if they were in the English football pyramid, they would have a lot more money coming in than they do in Scotland.
If they made it into the Premier League they would have the money to attract better players. Each of their club's history and size of their fanbase would also attract high quality players, as well as the fact that they would be playing in a league which is more high-profile than in Scotland.
All hypothetical though obviously, because they will probably never be in the English pyramid.

As for Rangers and Celtic, with EFL/PL money they would both be top half Premier League teams.

A- unlike Scotland the Welsh teams from the biggest population areas play in the English league.
B- unlike Scotland their is only one fully professional team in the Welsh league and they (TNS) are based in England
C- Football is without doubt the national sport of Scotland and the same can’t be said of Wales.
D- Many areas of Scotland are a lot more isolated from the big English clubs than Wales so people are far less likely to be travel to watch a big English clubs.
All pretty common sense.

And all reasons why I find it funny when Welsh people readily slag off the Scottish league. I’m not sure what your point is? Their league is far superior to our own and will be for decades to come

thing is the Welsh league is what it is, nobody pretends and says on regular intervals TNS would be a top 6 club in England... would the 2 Scottish clubs be ? its far from the slam dunk some people think..

With the same funding as the other PL clubs, potentially. Celtic get bigger crowds than Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool. Rangers have been getting nearly 50k crowds for years. Obviously crowd size isn’t everything but it would give them a big boost compared to most bottom half teams.
