Osei-Tutu, speaking for the first time as a Cardiff City player, thanked Neil Harris for showing belief in him as he looked forward to getting some first-team minutes under his belt in the Championship.


TUTU:

"I came here because it is a big club giving me a big platform," the 21-year-old, who spent last season on loan at German second tier club VFL Bochum told the club's website.


"I thank the manager for having the belief to bring me to such a wonderful club and all I want to do is repay him. I'll do that by showing what I can do, helping the team win games and hopefully pushing for promotion.

"I have good knowledge of playing around the pitch, but right-back is my spot. I like to get up and down the pitch, attack and defend. I can't wait to get started."

Yes from memory Mr Gilbert did get himself into a bit of a pickle That said I seem to remember he had a brilliant start and looked a great player before our and his demise as the season went on.

Wasn't the rumour he slept with another players wife... Was it Paul parrys. I remember parry kept dropping out of the Wales squad for personal reasons. And then rumours were going about loovens sleeping with someone's wife then I think someone else said it was gilbert
