Swansea City and Celtic target Jamal Lowe was left out of Wigan's friendly defeat by Carlisle United as his departure looms, according to Portsmouth News..

The winger was the subject of a £500,000 bid from the Swans, but the Latics are said to be holding out for at least £750,000 so they can pay off a fee to Portsmouth, the club from which they bought him last summer.

Wigan entered administration and need to bolster the coffers in order to pay off their creditors. As such, a number of high-profile stars are set to leave.

Kieffer Moore joined Cardiff for around £2m while Antonee Robinson was bought by Fulham for a similar price. Joe Gelhardt was picked up by Leeds United while Brighton bought Jensen Weir.

Lowe now looks set to be the next player out the door, with the player having not been risked in the club's 2-1 defeat at their training ground this weekend.
