If Bamba Leaves

I think it will be a disaster. It’s clear that his personality is infectious at the club and he adds a great deal of experience on and off the field. It must also be remembered that although he is coming to the end of his playing career and he has had a bad injury he is also a very good footballer. It is impossible for Morrison and Nelson to play in every match and remember there are now more than ever games every Wednesday and weekend in a shorter span playing season. He has the ability and know how to partner both Nelson and Morrison. These two will suffer through a lot of games, injuries, amassed bookings and possible send offs. Bamba is a far better back up than Flint. So I believe we need him and would play a crucial part in our demanding schedule. A youngster as another back up would enable Flint to move on. So - Sol - please stay.
