I know they have sold a player for £20m plus to Germany but how can they afford Etheridge ?
They have got George Friend from Middlesboro as well, and he could cost high wages.

Last season and for several years they were on the verge of going bust. So £20 million is not going to solve their problems.

They've had new investment from more Chinese.

i dont see it either...


Ultra rich new owners from abroad. Hong Kong sports holding company called Trillion Trophy Asia. The company is headed by Paul Suen who subsequently owns the club.

they have owned the club since 2016 and St Andrews has been called the Trillion Trophy Stadium for 2 years.....
but my remark had more to do with where the rumour itself has and has not been reported...

Think 'St Andrew's' is still part of the stadium name, though? One of my favourite grounds.

yes it is..my point was more regarding their foreign owners...
