Championship TV fixture announcement details
The fixtures are out and it's time to get excited about the 2020/21 Championship season
The fixtures for the 2020/21 EFL season have been released and excitement for the new campaign is already starting to build.
The campaigns in the Championship, League One and League Two will begin on September 12, while the regular seasons in all three divisions will conclude on May 8/9, 2021.
Last season’s extension to the campaign following the three-month hiatus caused by the coronavirus crisis caused widespread disruption for the EFL, with the Championship being the only division out of the three leagues played to completion.
The plan is for things to return to normal this campaign, with plenty of midweek action to fit all the fixtures in before the planned finish at the usual date at the end of May.
