Southampton want Watford star
Southampton could be tempted into a move for Watford striker Danny Welbeck.
According to The Sun, Welbeck has a £5m release clause in his contract, and it’s one the Saints are considering triggering.
The England international striker has been with the Hornets since last year, making 19 league appearances since.
Southampton believe his experience could still prove very handy in the Premier League, and that has their interest peaked.
