Its leased to swans for 30 odd years but probably knowing swans the council will be left with maintenance bill! Was an argument earlier about maintenance and dho was responsible so anything is possible with them..

Fits in perfect with the rest of the town.

They took Interserve to court over it .. and lost. Something to do with the 12 year period of limitations having expired. Looks like a right old rust bucket..

I did two days work near that stadium last year and was shocked how scruffy and rusty it was. I'm not a fan of our lego look but i'd take that over the basic grubby looking concrete cheapy they have.
I suppose it suits the area it was built as the people and kids that were passing were right scruffy looking things wearing clothing that would not look out of place in the film " Kes"

how do Universities justify spending on sponsoring football clubs ?

I bet most sponsors are dragging their feet at the moment and the jackies have taken the first offer on the table.
Maybe a sign that shit will soon hit the fan down there?
Didn't some yank fella loan them a million pound for shares recently?
Heard some of the trust have been sleeping with the enemy ie owners since gonzos reign?
Still owe big money for last years loan from the banks?

We haven't had a shirt sponser , for close to 10 years.
Vincent Tan obviously doesn't need the funds , which in itself is a good thing .
Getting back to the Jacks how much can a university afford to pay for sponsership ???
The majority of Jack fans have never been to school , and probably couldn't spell university (hope I've spelt it right).
