This guy could be more than ample cover for Tomlin

According to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool playmaker Ovie Ejaria has been left in limbo as a move to Reading could fall through.

The Reds loaned Ejaria out to Reading last summer, with a £3.5million permanent deal agreed to go through at the end of the season.

Ejaria dazzled Championship defences in a superb campaign, notching three goals and five assists whilst producing nonchalant skill throughout the campaign.

I watched Ejaria during his time at Rangers and although he undoubtedly is a skilful player he seemed lightweight, lazy and inconsistent and unfortunately we already have a player with those qualities in our squad, namely Josh Murphy.

With all due respect, I don't think he'd add much and he's certainly nowhere near Tomlin's level. 3 goals and 5 assists last season is hardly groundbreaking, especially at a cost of £3.5m!
