Man United identify David Brooks as Jadon Sancho alternative
Manchester United are reportedly ready to turn to Wales star David Brooks if a deal for Jadon Sancho cannot get over the line.
The Red Devils' protracted pursuit of the England international has been the main transfer storyline of the summer, with Borussia Dortmund holding out for an offer in the region of £108m.
However, the MEN report that a deal "looks less likely with each passing week", with the club now seriously exploring alternative options.
They had made contact with the representatives of Schalke's Rabbi Matondo, another Wales international, earlier this summer, but these fresh reports suggest Brooks could become United's Plan B.
The Manchester outlet report that Brooks would come at a far more reasonable price and, given their relegation, Bournemouth will likely want to cash in.
