THE BIGGEST QUESTION IN FOOTBALL HISTORY [POLL]

Mon Aug 17, 2020 7:53 pm

Will Lionel Messi leave the team he has spend all his life at...FC Barcelona? Things are not going the way Messi wants and after that 8-2 defeat this must play in the greatest ever player's mind. So, could it actually happen? Could Messi leave his team?

Not sure how this is the biggest football question ever. I personally couldn’t care less what he does. Not even the best in my eyes either.

Not sure he was ever the best even at his peak. Never wanted to test himself in Italy, Germany or even UK so I'm not sure how people can rate him so highly without proving an ability to adapt.

At least Ronaldo has tested himself right across the best European leagues with the exception of Germany.

Mind you, I'd be happy for Mr Tan to sign him as back up to Tomlin

agree, he is obviously a very very good player... but to just assume him the greatest ever as if its nailed on is stretching it.. you can make an argument for half a dozen players made more complicated by them playing in different eras..

I don't know. You'd have to ask him.

Hardly "the biggest question in football history" either.

I've voted yes,but with good reason, the other day,my sisters friends boyfriends friend, told me the only reason Moore has signed,is because Messi has agreed to come here, and helped barca get thrashed as an excuse to leave! Bale and Ramsey coming to play for free too.no word of a lie bruv! :laughing5: :old: :bluebird:

Would make League Cup and FA Cup ties a little more interesting as Messi would get a run out against teams like Carlisle and Barrow

Given our recent cup exploits that would mean he'd only get 2 games a season   :laughing5:

mate, ive been to major 2 cup finals.... not bad considering for years my dream was a freight rover trophy final.... i can actually remember a group of us chatting after a relegation in the 80s with the silver lining being at least we have a really good chance of going to wembley now... we never even reached a regional final let alone Wembley... so no complaints about cups here... age thing maybe ..
