Tuesday 18 August (13:30) The Group Stage draw for the EFL Trophy on Talk SPORT 2.
Friday 21 August (09:00) Sky Bet EFL fixtures released
Saturday 5 September: Carabao Cup (EFL Cup) Round One fixtures (divided into a northern and southern section but will remain unseeded). NB If drawn against a Club that has players on international Duty the match maybe brought forward a week.

Friday 16 October – Transfer Window closes. The summer 2020 transfer window started on 27 July and is open for 10 weeks, ending on 5 October. A domestic only window, during which Premier League clubs can only trade with those in the EFL, will run from 5 October to 17:00 BST on 16 October.
Saturday 7 November – First Round of the FA Cup. There will be no replays and prize money has been halved from 2019-20 because of the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The winners will receive £1.8m, down from £3.6m last season.
